Ok...so I decided to make Riley a tutu to go with her butterfly wings. I knew I didn't want it to be flimsy so I decided to double it up and squish each piece tight together. BAD move! This thing is SO full!

Here's a pic of Becky modeling it. It was only about 50% done at this point and Riley wouldn't put it on.


















Then Riley decided she did want to try it on. Mind you...still not finished.

And finally the finished product! Like I said---much fuller than it needs to be, but still pretty dang cute! I put some blue and purple satin ribbons in with the tulle and added a few jingle bells (her wings have bells) and then finished the waistband in satin ribbon too. I'm thinking of making a few and putting them on ebay to see how they sell. Anyone want to buy one?

Brittany cut her hair!!!

Brittany's been bugging me for a while to get her hair cut. Out of nowhere today I was just in the mood to bring her. I was tired of seeing her hair the same way every day...so off we went...


I almost forgot to take this picture. She was on her way back with the woman to cut her hair and I called her out again LOL

If I had to guess...I'd say she cut about 8 or 10 inches off!!! Brave girl! She LOVES it!!!

They are growing up...

With Ronnie gone for a while now, he asked me to email him current pictures of the girls. Maddie and Riley were the only ones home. I figured since I hadn't posted recent pics of either of them anywhere, I'd add them here too.

And here's Maddie...don't mind the hair...it ALWAYS looks like that (or something similar). The back where it sticks straight up isn't long enough to get into pig tails yet and I had just taken a barrette out of the front of her hair. Oh and now that I look, there's a bit of drool too! LOL
The 'yuck' behind Maddie is where we tore the cabinets out of the kitchen a few weeks ago. I was going to fix the wall and paint, but Ronnie and I finally came to a decision on how we were remodeling the house and this wall is coming down (probably early in January). With everything else going on right now, I decided we'd just leave it and just not look at it LOL so you aren't allowed either!

Megan's last Home field hockey game is today so I'll try and take some pics there too (I always hold the camera and forget to take pics).
